Book a sleepover party for a Friday night and receive Saturday night free
(In accordance with UK Government Guidance May 2021)
Sleepee Teepee Events agrees that, in line with Government guidance, business activities should only take place where we can establish social distancing, safe systems of work, and suitable protection measures for clients and staff, and good disinfecting procedures for equipment.
All payments must be made electronically to comply with the non-contact guidance that is currently advised.
Teepee hire is only to be used in one room within the household and should not be moved between rooms after installation.
Use of the hire equipment must be limited to the householder and five other people, or two households (each household can include a support bubble, if eligible). Where customers are found in breach of this, Sleepee Teepee Events reserve the right to immediately arrange collection of the equipment.
New guidance on meeting friends and family now emphasises personal responsibility rather than government rule. Instead of instructing you to stay 2m from anyone you don't live with, you are encouraged to exercise caution and consider the guidelines on risks associated with Covid-19 and actions you take to keep you and your loved ones safe.
Further guidance can be found by following the links.
Cross-contamination between households will be eliminated by introducing a rest period of 72 hours between hire and additional cleaning before and after use.
Adequate PPE, namely gloves and a mask, will be worn on delivery and collection by staff from Sleepee Teepee Events.
Equipment will be thoroughly cleaned/disinfected before it can be rehired. (Please refer to our Method statement for additional notes on cleaning).
Soft furnishings that cannot be washed at 60 degrees will not be included in the packages.
Bedsheets, duvets, duvet covers, blankets and mattress protectors provided for the sleepover, will be washed and placed in a fastened bag 72 hours before delivery.
Customers must supply their own pillows and pillowcases. Cushions supplied by Sleepee Teepee Events are not to be used as a substitute for a pillow by the customer.
Bedsheets, duvets, duvet covers, blankets and mattress protectors must be stripped by the client and placed in a fastened bin bag ready for collection.
The client must notify Sleepee Teepee Events, in advance of delivery, if any members of the household have tested positive for Covid 19 or are presenting with symptoms in the run-up to hire or during the hire.
Sleepee Teepee Events will also notify the client if at any point any members of our household become unwell with any symptoms of COVID-19 and reserve the right to cancel the hire if this situation arises. This policy is in addition to the standard risk assessment and terms of hire which must be agreed to before the hire.
All party planners at Sleepee Teepee Events have undertaken an accredited Infection Control and Prevention course before following this Method Statement.
COSHH Assessment Not applicable – no hazardous substances will be used during the setup or dismantling of the equipment.
All party planners at Sleepee Teepee Events will be aware of Risk Assessments.
